This teacher training in Yoga and Art for children is delivered in a practical, informative, fun, creative and dynamic format. The training is comprised of a series of comprehensive modules based on Yoga and mindfulness practices along with creative activities, games and breathing practices that are both relevant, engaging and age appropriate. This is an invitation to you to immerse yourself in the world of children's Yoga for 2 days where you will have the opportunity to re-connect to 'JOY - the natural state of children', through creative Yoga asana, fun breath awareness, dance, play, creative expression, laughter and song. All delivered in a format of direct experience and balanced with practical theory and discussions.

Our aim is to make YOU the participant feel confident with the basic skills of teaching children's yoga and in a professional learning environment that supports you individually - we recognise we are all wonderfully unique and learn in different ways as do children. We aim to make you feel confident to teach and inspired to share your new passion and skills. This training offers a solid foundation to the beginnings of your own unique journey of facilitating Yoga to our planets very special Children.

Aim of the course

The world we are living in is getting faster moment by moment making for a busy, demanding and often stressful environment.
This is taking our children more often than not into stress mode whilst they are actually in the process of forming their nervous system. We recognise that Yoga and mindfulness combined with time for creative expression nurtures the development of greater sensitivity and self awareness to manage their health for life.
When children are able to cultivate resilience and flexibility within their bodies, mind and emotions, it can provide them with the tools to nurture and support the peace they naturally are and begin to 'self regulate' their emotional internal landscape.
The skills that can help children to connect with this peace from the inside out are provided in this training and are tools that can be embraced by the entire family to potentially improve the quality of family life on a daily basis.
Once you have this knowledge you have the skills to personally empower children and families to re-discover and re-connect to this peace which is our natural birthright - creating true "Ambassadors of Peace".

Be the change that you want to be and see!
