Yoga for Pre Teens 9~12 years old Teacher Skill Up Course in Osaka with Karen Wightman

event image
About the course

An introduction to Yoga and mindfulness tools to engage and inspire our fabulous pre- teens. This age group are often referred to as the 'Tweenies' and are sometimes seen to be shy and slightly awkward about themselves as they begin to experience the subtle changes taking place in their bodies at this delicate age.

Yoga can help them to find comfort, build emotional resilience, develop the ability to self regulate, build confidence and manage any worries and stress they may begin to encounter both in and around them. Are you curious to know what challenges, engages and empowers this age group - then this workshop will provide you with the tools and skills in how to do this. Learn ways to nurture and support the tender beginnings of our blossoming little goddesses and brave young warriors to shine brightly, expressing their unique creativity and having fun at the same time.

This course includes a 'Certificate of Completion' which can be used as 6 - Continuing Education Units with Yoga Alliance for RYT 200 hours. We recommend taking the three modules offered as an opportunity to both deepen your knowledge and skills and as continuing education.
